The Academic Framework
The task is not to decide which discipline is correct. The task is to understand how the different dimensions of human organization interact to produce the person sitting in front of us.
That shift changes every question that follows.
Every academic discipline begins with a model.
Physics begins with matter and energy.
Psychology begins with the mind and behavior.
Economics begins with systems of exchange.
The organizing model determines the questions a discipline asks, the evidence it values, and ultimately, the conclusions it is capable of reaching.
Multidimensional Medicine begins with a different assumption.
The human being cannot be adequately understood through a single explanatory system.
Biology matters.
Development matters.
Relationships matter.
Environment matters.
Culture matters.
Meaning matters.
Each contributes information. None is sufficient on its own.
From Disciplines to Human Organization
Modern education is organized around disciplines. Practitioners become increasingly skilled within defined areas of knowledge, developing depth within a particular framework of understanding.
Multidimensional Medicine begins somewhere else.
It begins with the human being.
Knowledge is organized according to the person rather than according to professional boundaries.
Physiology is not separated from development.
Development is not separated from relationships.
Relationships are not separated from behavior.
Behavior is not separated from meaning.
Each becomes part of a larger system whose organization determines how adaptation, health, and dysfunction emerge over time.
The objective is to understand how seemingly unrelated observations become expressions of the same underlying organization.
Clinical Reasoning
Clinical reasoning is the central discipline of the Institute.
Students develop the ability to observe before interpreting, distinguish primary processes from secondary adaptations, evaluate competing hypotheses, and recognize when multiple explanations may be simultaneously valid.
Rather than asking which intervention should be applied first, practitioners learn to ask which process is currently organizing the system.
Intervention becomes the consequence of understanding rather than the starting point.
This approach demands curiosity before certainty, observation before conclusion, and structure before technique.

The Whole You Framework™
The Whole You Framework™ provides the Institute's foundational model for observation, assessment, and clinical reasoning.
It is not a therapeutic modality, diagnostic system, or treatment protocol.
It is an intellectual framework designed to organize complexity before conclusions are reached.
The framework guides practitioners through a structured process of identifying patterns, evaluating competing explanations, recognizing interacting influences, and determining where meaningful change is most likely to begin.
It exists to support disciplined thinking rather than predetermined answers.
About the Founder
Professional Evolution
PhD | Visionary in Multidimensional Healing | Founder, Whole You Institute
Dr. Laura Petkunaite is the founder of Whole You Institute and a pioneer in multidimensional wellness education, known for her unique integration of academic achievement and holistic health insight. She graduated from Vilnius University Faculty of Medicine with a Bachelor’s degree and earned her Master’s degree cum laude. She also holds advanced degrees in Psychology, Holistic Health Science, and Natural Medicine.
Her specialized studies span Eastern Medicine, Quantum Physics, Herbalism, Homeopathy, Taoist Medicine, Psychoanalysis, Family and Systemic Constellation Work, and Soul Healing. This broad and integrative foundation allows Dr. Laura to approach wellness as a multidimensional process—honoring both scientific understanding and energetic intelligence.
Her background includes experience in hospital and integrative wellness settings—participating in pediatric oncology, rehabilitation, psychiatry, and private holistic centers, where she contributed to the development of individualized wellness protocols.
Dr. Laura holds three Bachelor's degrees, two Master's degrees, a Doctorate, and a PhD. She is a frequent conference speaker and guides wellness professionals in expanding their practice to include holistic, consciousness-based methods.
Central to her methodology is the Five Body Model, through which she explores health and healing across the physical, emotional, mental, supra-mental, and spiritual dimensions. Her passion lies in bridging modern assessment with subtle energy wellness to help uncover root causes and support deep, lasting transformation.
All programs and services offered are for educational and informational purposes only and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Dr. Laura Petkunaite is not a licensed physician in the United States.
"If you want to support a person’s well-being, you should start from within— change the energy if you want to see lasting improvement."
Areas of Inquiry
The Institute draws upon multiple fields of inquiry, each contributing a different perspective to understanding the human organism.
These include systems biology, human physiology, developmental psychology, psychoanalysis, family systems, traditional medical systems, complexity science, biofield research, philosophy of science, and long-form clinical observation.
These disciplines are not studied as competing explanations of health.
They are examined as complementary bodies of knowledge whose relationships often reveal more than any individual discipline can explain alone.
Students are encouraged to understand both the strengths and the limitations of every field they study.
No framework is treated as complete.
Every framework contributes.
The Whole You Method
Whole You Institute is built upon intellectual discipline rather than intellectual certainty.
Students are expected to question assumptions, tolerate ambiguity, examine evidence critically, and refine their reasoning continuously through observation and reflection.
Agreement is not the objective.
Precision is.
The Institute values practitioners who are capable of changing their conclusions when better observations emerge, while maintaining consistency in the principles that guide their reasoning.
Education is therefore understood not as the acquisition of information, but as the gradual refinement of judgment.
Intellectual Standards
Multidimensional Medicine is presented at the Institute as an emerging field of academic inquiry.
Students are invited not merely to learn existing knowledge, but to participate in its continued development through research, clinical observation, scholarly discussion, and intellectual contribution.
The Institute regards knowledge as provisional.
Every model remains open to refinement as observation deepens and understanding evolves.
The purpose of scholarship is to pursue a more complete understanding of the human being.
